What is “human performance” you ask? Well, simply, human performance is the study and application of how humans can optimize their function.
The 4 pillars of human performance are:
training - exercise specific to an individual’s task(s)
nutrition - how/why/what to eat to maximize training and recovery
recovery - how our bodies/minds use rest to adapt to stress
mindset - how our state of mind influences performance
The goal of this newsletter is to provide actionable insights to help you take control of your life by making the above 4 pillars as strong as possible. Real Human Performance is geared toward competitive athletes, recreational athletes, tactical athletes, non-athletes, and everyone in between. Simply put, if you are alive, you are probably performing task(s) that could be enhanced. This is Real Human Performance.
